Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage export and import shipping operations to and from multiple countries, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.
- Coordinate with international clients, suppliers, and carriers to facilitate smooth freight forwarding processes.
- Handle documentation for export and import activities, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping manifests.
- Ensure timely booking and scheduling of shipments with shipping lines and freight carriers.
- Monitor and manage end-to-end shipping operations, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Provide solutions for logistics challenges, including route optimization and cost-effective transportation strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and ensure adherence to customs clearance regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions and generate reports as required.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-5 years of proven experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on global export and import operations.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of international shipping processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with international clients and stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in midnight shifts (3:30 AM and 6:30 PM) catering to US time zones.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management tools.

- Familiarity with INCOTERMS (International Commercial Terms).

- Proficiency in managing ocean, air, and multimodal freight operations.

3. Customs and Border Procedures
