HIPAA Compliance

Invensis has a designated HIPAA Compliance Officer, who is responsible for ensuring the company complies with HIPAA security and privacy rules and regulations.

HIPAA Compliance Officer Responsibilities:

• Develop HIPAA-related policies and procedures based on privacy and security regulations (45 CFR Parts 160, 162, 164).
• Ensure that these policies are implemented and practiced across the HIPAA-covered entities within the organization.
• Conduct HIPAA training for all employees within the scope of the compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments in the scoped areas and implement security and privacy controls to mitigate risks.
• Implement and maintain the specific requirements of the HIPAA Security Rule in covered entities’ agreed-upon operations.

Currently, Invensis is undergoing the implementation of new proposed changes for HIPAA compliance in 2025.
